These Bouzouki and Octave Mandolins go back to their roots and are designed from traditional Celtic models.

These mandolins are made from all solid woods. Johnson selects only choice spruce with tight, uniform grain.

The back and sides are made from hard maple and the neck is mahogany, shaped for maximum comfort.

Johnson uses a traditional X-braced soundboard, but outfit the instrument with an adjustable truss rod for modern reliability.

Other features include multi-ply body binding, a rosewood fretboard and bridge, a compensated saddle, and high-quality chrome plated tuning machines. Johnson even uses a traditional Celtic knotwork design for the headstock inlay.
